The Park Mall property, which had already been contracted as the second store following the J Center Mall, has finally started to advertise on the site. But we have decided to open a store in Gaisano Country Mall on short notice, so this will be the third store we have opened. Today, I would like to talk about that.
About Tarpaulin
First of all, this is a rather geeky English word, but the advertisements and banners that are posted on construction sites are generally called "tarpaulins. I myself did not know this kind of English until I was in the (sweaty) position of site supervisor. I thought it was something related to advertising, but the Japanese translation istarpaulinis a term used to refer to a tarp. It is not clear if Filipinos use the word to mean tarpaulin, but the word is very common in the industry. It is not necessary to learn it for most people who live a normal life.
Now, this tarpaulin ad is actually ridiculously large, as it seems to cover the entire building site. It seems that there is no machine to print this in one piece, so it is printed in two pieces and joined together.
The whole appearance is not noticeable
I ordered it because I thought it would be nice to be highlighted as "unnoticeable level",
For those who know about it,You're piecing it together with all your might. The situation is as follows. This is the situation. Well, it's the Philippines, so that's good.
Park Mall Store Locations
Park Mall is a very successful mall and also a mall with many restaurants. And since the good places are already filled,It will be right in front of the jeepney stop, completely opposite the main entrance.
Although it is initially on the first floor, it is a very confusing location directly behind the restaurant, so much so that I once considered dropping out of the contract. In many ways, we decided to open the restaurant because we had to experiment as a real store, and because it is not easy to find a smaller 50sqm property. But after thinking about it, it may turn out to be a good result since the main target is people who ride jeepneys, not the upscale line of Ichikosha. (After all, it's ramen for 99 pesos.)
In any case, the location is not easy to find, so we decided to advertise at the construction site this way more than a month before the opening.
Any actual plans to open?
We have heard from the Filipino contractor who is placing the order that the schedule is for completion around mid-April; if we can open in April, it will be quite excellent, and we expect early May at the best. How will the order be placed with the first Filipino artificial operator?
End of Jan J Center Mall (already)
Early April Gaisano Country Mall
Early May Park Mall
The above is what has been decided at this time. One more restaurant will be decided in the first half of the year.
I will keep you posted on the status on my blog.
