99 RAMEN, the second brand of Ichikosha Cebu, is currently in the process of finally starting construction on Park Mall, where it has already decided to open a restaurant after opening at J Center Mall. In the meantime, we are happy to report that we have decided on the property for our third store this year.

The location of the store is Gaisano Country Mall
We will be opening a restaurant in the food court of Gaisano Country Mall, a medium-sized mall in Cebu. Gaisano Country Mall is one of the malls operated by the Gaisano group, and the University of Cebu is located across the street. The mall is aimed at middle to lower class customers, which is in line with 99 RAMEN's target customer base.
The Gaisano Country Mall is located in the vicinity of
While the neighborhood is home to Beverly Hills, where the rich live, it is also home to the Vanillad campus of the University of Cebu, one of the largest universities in Cebu.
Since UC (University of Cebu) is located across the street from Gaisano Country Mall, the mall is crowded with students wearing UC uniforms. In fact, for Filipino college students, 99 pesos is not a cheap price range, but we think it is a price range that they can eat at least once a week.
Located next to that restaurant in the food court.
To our surprise, the restaurant next to Turks (Honey Jane) has closed its doors, so we decided to open a restaurant at this location. Turks at Gaisano Country Mall is always very crowded, and I have a feeling that 99 RAMEN's opening here will revitalize the food court at Gaisano Country Mall in the future.
The rent is astounding...
In fact, when I first heard about the rent, I kept asking about it because it was so cheap. I think this might be the cheapest place for 99 RAMEN even if they open more stores in the future. I can't give you a quick answer, but it is less than half the price of J Center Mall. The location is quite small, but this food court is very accessible from the entrance of the mall, so if it can attract customers, it may not be a dream to be the No. 1 restaurant.
If we don't make a mistake in the type of business (especially in the case of franchises that can be done), I think we can still hit the jackpot in the Cebu Island restaurant industry. The cost of opening a restaurant is going to be much lower, and after all, it is going to start earlier. (since it won't take as long to build)
Scheduled to open in early April!
We are currently in the process of preparing to submit our store design and plans to the mall. As soon as the mall completes its review, a free two-week construction period will begin, and once the construction is complete, the mall will open without incident. The opening of the Park Mall is also scheduled for mid-April, but the Gaisano Country Mall is expected to open earlier.
Just like the logo that represents the sun, 99 RAMEN will continue to expand. We will expand to four restaurants by the end of this year, and then add more as the situation allows.
I will earn pesos by getting more Filipinos to eat real ramen lol.
