Hello, my name is Karen Momono, a local staff member!
Long time no see! I had to take a break from blogging last week for some reason. I am very sorry to say that I took a vacation for a week! (Thank you very much!
The destination is..."The last unexplored region of the Philippines."The Philippines is also known as Palawan Island !!!! It is said to be the island of choice for Filipinos, visitors to the Philippines, and many Westerners.
I will summarize in one word.
I really enjoyed it."
It's simple, but it comes down to this one word. (laughter)
There is really a lot of information that I would like to share with you all,I will introduce you again in a future article! Please look forward to it☺.
So I returned to Cebu the other day after an absence of about 10 days, and Cebu seems to be in high spirits right now. That's no wonder, because this weekend is theCebu's biggest festival "SinulogThe mood of Filipinos and the city seems to be even more cheerful than usual as the "New Year's Celebration" is about to take place in the Philippines.
Filipinos in a buoyant mood in the midst of coming back from vacation and feeling like they need to get back into work mode ・・・・. Let's take advantage of this trend and do something to lift my spirits in my usual routine!
With that in mind, I came up with the idea of "gel nails."
I had been thinking "I like it" and "It's cute" and "Let's go do it someday" since I saw a friend of mine come here before.
Yes. Now is the time! (laughs)
It's a simple thing, but just having your toes transformed into something cute and to your liking is enough to make a girl feel excited, don't you think?
Every time I do something, I always see my toes. After a long time, I decided to splurge and get gel nails done, so I finally went!
This time I would like to introduce my recommended salon "Tree shade" ☺☺☺.

TREE SHADE SPA
This is the store where I had my gel nails done in Cebu this time.
"TREE SHADE". It is.
As you can see from the photo, the main focus of this restaurant is "spa" as indicated by the restaurant name.
And this TREE SHADE is quite famous in Cebu for its high level and quality massage.
One reason for this may be related to the fact that TREE SHADE is a Korean-owned store. Korea is renowned as a beauty powerhouse. I have the impression that they are very thorough when it comes to beauty. Of course, local Filipinos visited the store, but I got the impression that there were many Koreans living in the Philippines and students who came to study abroad.
Photojournalistic store interior
As soon as you enter, you will see the reception desk.
But at the same time, every part of the store is "cute.
This is exactly what I mean by photogenic. It is the interior of the restaurant that makes you want to take pictures ☺.
There is also a space where you can take a break with a shake or a cup of coffee.
When you go to TREE SHADE on holidays or in the evening, it is sometimes crowded and there is a wait time, so it is good that you can rest and wait in this space.
I recommend the shakes with fresh mangoes☺☆.
There is even a souvenir corner next to it!
Numerous and varied products can be purchased, including snacks and cosmetics that use the Philippines' famous mango and calamansi (a lime-like citrus fruit).
And to top it all off, there is a BAR attached right next to the restaurant☺ Very stylish and cute atmosphere.
It is also a luxurious time to relax here after a spa or nail treatment.
The best massage in Cebu.
When you enter, the first thing you see is the reception desk, which you saw earlier, that is the massage reception desk.
Here, since we're here, let me introduce you to the TREE SHADE spa before we get to the nails☺.

For a basic massage, it is not that expensive compared to other stores. A dry massage costs 350 pesos per hour, and an oil massage costs 400 pesos per hour.
When it comes to premium massage, the price goes up because of shiatsu and aromatherapy. However, it is a much better value when you consider getting these massages in Japan.
What about TREE SHADE SPA after all?
We opted for a 60-minute oil massage this time.
I got there around 8pm on a Saturday night and it wasn't crowded and they were able to do it right away☺.
This is another cute foot-washing area.
They wash in warm water with lots of flowers and petals.
Beside them, the waiters, who seemed to be very bored, were chatting with each other.
It's a thing in the Philippines. Isn't there something to do ・・・・(lol)
In doing so, my feet are completely clean.
You will be taken to a back room.
The atmosphere inside is also very stylish and chic, different from the front, giving a very calm impression.
It was a space where I felt relaxed and at home.
The treatment table looks like this.
I went with three friends, so this time we went to a room for three.
There are different types of rooms for different numbers of people, such as private rooms and rooms for two people.
The quality of the massage was very good, not too painful, not too gentle, just the right amount. After asking and confirming my request for the level of force before the treatment, she adjusted the level of force while actually massaging me☺.
I was very satisfied with my very pleasant 60 minute massage!
Gel nails in Cebu!
Now, about gel nails, which is the main topic of this article, I was a little surprised when I came to Cebu, but there are quite a lot of nail salons in Cebu. It seems that many Filipinos have their nails done. Not gel nails, but regular manicure nails, even single color nails, are done at salons. By the way, you can get single-color manicure beautifully painted for 200 pesos or more☺.
The most recommended nail salon in Cebu
As mentioned above, there are many nail salons in the Philippines. Many of those salons will also do gel nails.
Just! You have to be careful here."Quality."
I had gel nails done once before in the Philippines for 1000 pesos for a set of hands and feet, but the gel peeled off after only 3 days.
Even though I told myself that it was cheap ・・・・, I was sad when I saw the peeling nails... lol.
Such is the case.
My friend did very pretty nails!
Isn't it so gorgeous with all the Christmas colors and designs and lots of gemstones!
And the most surprising thing was the quality. The finished nails were so pretty, and they lasted for a month and a half!
I want to go here. I want to go here..."
Yes, that's what I thought.Nail salon in TREE SHADEwas☺.
TREE SHADE nail
Enter TREE SHADE and walk straight past the spa reception area and you will see the entrance to the nail salon on the left.
The nail salon is also stylish.
They don't say anything special when you go in, so you can sit in any available seat and you'll be fine. (laughs)
When you are seated, a staff member will come to you and confirm what you want to do, at which time you should let them know that you want gel nails.
Several sample designs are displayed in the store. You can also see some of the designs on the store's Instagram.
Let me introduce some of them for your reference. ▶▶treenail__
There are so many decorations for gel, including colors, lamé, stones and stickers!
What do you think? I think there are many different designs.
But if you don't like any of these designs! If you don't like any of these designs, we have good news for you!
They will even do designs that you find on the internet if possible! If the colors or stones used are not available in the store or if the design is too complicated, they may refuse to accept your request, but it is quite likely that they will accept your request☺!
How much do quality gel nails cost?
TREE SHADE nail" offers high quality gel nails in Cebu.
I am curious about its price,
1,400 pesos!
・・・・When I first heard about this price, I said, "Too expensive! But when I think about it, I realize that it is cheap. Of course, 1,400 pesos is very expensive when you think about it in terms of Philippine prices, but if you think about getting gel nails done in Japan, it seems cheap. But if you think about doing gel nails in Japan, you will think it is cheaper. It's strange how we think. (lol).
Also, when I thought about the 1,400 pesos again, I thought, "That's cheap!" One of the reasons why I thought, "That's cheap when I think about it!You can do whatever you want! The first time I saw this happen, I was surprised!
At TREE SHADE nail, you can get as many designs as you want for 1400 pesos☺.
I also took a design I found on the Internet and asked them to add some more pretty stones as an added bonus to create a design that I was satisfied with and loved!
After all, pretty nails definitely make you feel better!
